The first two reviwers are upset that this isn't a "study" Bible. NOWHERE on the book does it claim to be so. In fact, on the front cover, it says, "Featuring Notes and Commentary by Joyce Meyer."

I am so far quite happy with what I see here. Since this is Joyce's work, I have no doubt it will be a terrific Bible.

I am not new to christianity, but I am new to reading the bible and knowing of the events that took place. I found this extremely useful as a bible and I absolutely love how Joyce Meyer relates the information to daily living. For me, it makes it easier to understand when I can relate it to my daily life. I would not consider this a study bible, I actually consider it my bible. I read from this bible and carry it to church. Joyce Meyer includes "Life Points" within the pages, along with prayers and other information from her. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a clear understanding of the bible.

I was attracted to this book at Barnes and Nobles, because the author suggests things to pray for (at the bottom of many of the pages). I have trouble asking for what I need from God sometimes, and reading this bible really helps me to focus on what I need to ask for. This is great for women and college students because the author's notes explain the bible verses in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.

This is a pretty good deal. Pretty nice little device. Very easy to hook up, and the image was impressive. I hooked it up to any DVR, and viewed through TV. It works great. It is an Indoor camera, to be installed on the ceiling, and looks like a real smoke detector. But it does not function as a smoke detector. I use it to monitor my front door when people come in. I would like to know when they come into and leave the room; works for that.

For a such a quality radio it has two major flaws. The LED display is far too bright at night unless you need a room night light. A dimmer switch should be provided. The AM reception is poor unless you attach an external antenna. Radio should have a decent internal antenna.

Im baffled by how no one has not only mentioned, but actually thought they received a 200-DG bag in this kit. After doing some thorough research, this kit looked to be a steal with a canon battery, a $17 filter, and come with a 200-DG bag (as listed on their description). After reading a number of reviews on how people were satisfied with their purchases, and what a steal of a deal it was (most people who bought this kit left their reviews on the 200-DG page as they were only rating the bag), I pulled the trigger on this set. As the product reached my door step yesterday, I was in for one hell of a surprise.

The battery and the filter is just as described. But I believe most people who purchased this kit, like me, expected the 200-DG bag to come along with it which, it is not. Upon further investigation, I learned that I could not even compare this bag to the 200-DG bag because it is not sold separately. This bag was made for this kit only. Since there was only one picture available on amazon for this product, I couldn't get a close look at the bag through the picture since it is displaying several items at the same time. But if you look very very carefully, you can see through the bundle picture that it is drastically different than the 200-DG bag.

Some of the notable differences between the 2 bags:

200-DG uses metal buckles and rings while the bag included in this kit uses plastic
The build quality and the materials used to construct the bag looks to be a lot better on the 200-DG
The bag in this kit uses a zipper top. The 200-DG uses velcro
The 200-DG bag, according to the dimensions provided by amazon (I confirmed it on the canon website) is actually smaller than the rebel bag based on my measurements.


Since there are no product description for the size of this bag, I'll list it here as well.

200-DG Exterior Dimensions 10.5 x 7.5 x 7 inches (WxHxD)
Rebel Bag Exterior Dimensions 14 (including protruding exterior pockets, 12 not including) x 7.5 x 9 inches (WxHxD)


Very surprised to find that this bag is actually a little bigger, given that the 200-DG bag seems to be much bulkier in the pictures. Overall, it is still a good bag, and will fit a camera base + 4 lenses and plenty of pockets here and there to store a plethora of other things. My assumption is that this is probably more of a $35-$40 bag, so you would be paying an extra $35 for the addition of the battery and the UV protectors. It's not a bad deal still if you needed all three of these things, but it is a much different deal than the advertised $56 bag plus a battery and UV protectors for an extra $20.

I gave this canon kit 5 stars because it is still a good product, and I didn't want to give it a bad rating because of Amazons mistake in the product description which would be unjust for canon. Hopefully upon reading this review, it will help everyone make a more informative purchase.

I purchased this bag with my recent Canon XSi purchase, and LOVE having a second battery and a nice case to store my camera... it is on the big side for me, I dont have a big collection of lenses yet, so I think I will be shopping for a smaller "everyday" kind of camera case that will be less bulky to tote around. The bag is very good.
The filter is good.
But the battery, which accounts for the majority of the price, is bad. After taking less than 50 photoes, the batter indicator in my XSi turns red. Yes, I mean 50. Not 500. Because this is 'kit', the original shipping box was big. I didn't bother to keep it. Given this is shipped from Amazon.com LLC itself. I didn't expect any hassle.
Given so many good reviews, I think my item was simply a defective one. But you should be aware of such possibility and keep your receipt and box until you are sure the battery is good.

I looked at several covers before purchasing this one. I wanted a folio type case b/c I travel with my iPad2 and wanted all around protection. I also wanted a cover that did not add too much bulk or weight for the same reason. I looked at the Switcheasy Canvas, Marware executive (with the carbon fiber-look leather) and this one. Switcheasy canvas was far too heavy and bulky - it almost doubled the weight! It did seem like a sturdy, protective cover. I was concerned about how the iPad2 was secured by the Marware case, particularly since you had to pop it in and out each time you wanted to prop the iPad up in landscape mode. So I purchased this Speck case. I have had the case for about 2 months, and am very pleased with it. The IPad snaps in securely to the plastic part of the case. The case offers 5 viewing angles and is well-supported in each. I try to avoid using the elastic, as it does seem a bit flimsy. Otherwise the finish and quality of this case is very good. I do not miss having a smart cover feature - it is easy enough to sleep and wake the iPad that I don't view that as an essential feature for a case. Overall I am very satisfied with this case, especially for $25 from Amazon.

I use my iPad everywhere for just about everything and like many others I've been through several cases. Most are either to flimsy or to bulky or don't provide the right amount of protection. I actually found this case at WalMart while going to pick up some invisible shield for the back of the iPad so I could try my smart cover again. Needless to say the smart cover won't be going back on my iPad. This case fits amazingly well and feels sturdy in every position I've used it in so far.

The only critique, the lack of the magnet to put the iPad to sleep when the case is closed.
My solution:
1. Find a small, flat or round, magnet from the craft section or the automotive section of you favorite DIY store.
2. Using an exacto knife or razor cut the threads holding together the inner and outer fabric of the case, about three inches down from the top right corner. You don't need to cut much maybe an 1/8 of an inch.
3. Slip in the magnet then stitch the fabric back together.

Now you have the auto sleep function built into you otherwise fantastic case. :-)

These sheets are really only ok. I was a bit surprised then I took them out of the package the color was much darker than expected. I should have known by the price and thread count that I was about to buy a set of sheets that won't blow my mind. After the 1st wash they were kind of scratchy. After the 2nd wash ... a little less scratchy. By the 3rd wash, I couldn't tell if they had gotten less scratchy or if i was just getting used to it.

That being said, the pattern looks great; classic & chic. If your wallet is tight then these will do. But if you're looking for luxury ... keep on lookin

I have a StarTAC ST7797 and am a "road-warrior". The battery that came with my phone was adequate. Note the word adequate. I had to constantly keep the StarTAC on charge because of my heavy usage. Just took delivery this morning of this unit. Initial charge took about 2 hours. Syncing with the MTRL V3 took about 30seconds. As my last unit was a Target Special, I can honestly say @ $10 less this unit was the best deal. I paid $23 and delivery was prompt. I tend to listen to music really loud and over the years I have become hard of hearing. Well, this little gem is quite loud and super easy to use. The one button is actually a spring loaded 3-way switch. Not confusing to use at all. It's not one of them tiny easy to lose units. Its big.

I sent it back and my post office returned it to me for an inexplainable reason. Something to do with the packaging which I did not understand so I just repacked it and mailed it back again. I feel certain that it was due to my new phone which I have had to exchange.

I bought this kit because my camera had some smudges on it. I wanted a good product so I would not ruined the camera. I tried the lens pen first and big mistake. It left dark scratch lines that I cannot clean. I used the cloth and it left lint on the lens. The liquid seems to be useful but dont use the cloth. Get a better quality cloth.

And just, maybe, but maybe instructions for some of these tools could make any task easier. I certainly regret trying the pen first.

This set is nice! It has some authentic Canon products and some other products that work very well with a dslr camera. The lens pen is sweet, the blower bulb is very effective and the Canon cleaning kit works wonders on my EOS 60D LCD screen and lenses. All-in-all worth the money; this will stay in my carrying case until I need to purchase another set down the road! Great price on Amazon too. If you're looking for a well-rounded lens kit and blower for your mirror/sensor, this will do just fine.

I purchased this stereo because I was trying to save a few bucks and I planned on installing the product myself. When I got the product it was in perfect condition (from a seller named OUTLET). When I installed it, I noticed that there was this extra "hissing" noise that I could not get rid of. I figured it was the antenna signal, so I put in a CD (that way you don't get the static from the am/fm transmission); but still the "hissing" persisted. Note that the "hissing" WAS NOT LOUD, and it kept a constant volume. So even if I turned up the stereo volume, the "hissing" would not increase nor decrease in volume, and if the stereo was loud enough it would drown out the "hissing". The problem is, if you ever needed to mute the stereo system (for a phone call perhaps) you would have this residual "hissing" in the background, which would only cease if you turned off the stereo. I didn't want this, so I spent a good 20 hours troubleshooting things like my amplifier, my speaker wires, my solder connections...etc. All this just to find out in the end that the "hissing" was inherent to the stereo head unit, meaning that this stereo system was the problem from the beginning. Afterwards I put in a buddy's extra stereo system to the exact same wiring connection and the "hissing" was gone. Problem solved I now have a JVC unit! PIECE OF CRAP NAXA STEREO.... that's what you get when you cheap out and buy an off brand you've never heard of.

Oh and more great news: the seller (OUTLET) deliberately says "no returns unless the product is in the exact condition as received", meaning they knew it was a piece of crap from the start, so once you buy it and put it in, you're screwed. THANKS!

If anyone is thinking of still buying this product and installing it by themselves, just so you know it DOESN'T COME WITH A FEMALE-END-WIRING-HARNESS to connect to your in-dash-existing-harness (not that it should - most after market stereos don't, they're sold separately ~$20). AND IF YOU HAVE A STOCK STEREO SYSTEM WHICH IS UNUSUALLY TALL (like mine) YOU WILL NEED A DASH KIT AS WELL, WHICH THIS PRODUCT DOESN'T SUPPLY (again most stereo kits don't come with this, thats another $15-20).

These gloves are at home either in the garage or out in a DZ / LZ. Good snug fit, easily adjustable, and sewn together to last (nice tactical color, as well). Outstanding military gloves that provide excellent impact, vibration, and abrasion protection. NOT for jobs that will require high levels of dexterity, water resistance, or for cold, chemical, flame, or cut protection. In all, a good all-around "field" glove. Semper Fi!

I have owned many pairs of Mechanix gloves before and have been extremely satisfied with all except for this pair. Within two weeks of ware, both index fingers blew out. The stitching came apart and the material on the thumbs and finger tips began to ware and eventually I owned fingerless gloves. Really disappointed in these gloves and wish I still had my receipt so I could exchange them but I just coughed this up as a lesson learned. If you don't plan on doing any mechanical work, these gloves may work out good for you.
